We are delighted to discover that our Peg range has been selected to be part of a major retrospective exhibition that will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the famous Salone Satellite exhibition. The exhibition will definitely be one of the most important shows of this Milan Design Festival.
Comprising of a selection of prominent and notable designs from the thousands that have been presented throughout the 20-year history The exhibition which is curated by the acclaimed Italian Architect and design critic Beppe Finessi, will showcase the significant importance the annual event that is Salone Satellite has within the design industry.
Peg was selected as one of these notable and important pieces to represent 2016 the year in which it was presented at the major international event.
SaloneSatellite was the first event to focus on young designers, instantly becoming the unrivalled place for interface with manufacturers, talent scouts and the most promising young designers. Its creation in 1998 was essentially a declaration of faith in the creative potential of designers under 35. Many of the prototypes presented in the previous 19 editions have gone into production, and many of the 10,000 designers who have taken part over the years, along with 270 international design schools, are now big names on the design scene.
The exhibition which is free to the public takes place in the large isles of the Fabbrica del Vapore Cathedral.
